Bighorn Mountain Electric team

Who We Are

Built on Wyoming Grit

Bighorn Mountain Electric has been serving commercial and industrial clients across Northeast Wyoming since 2019. We're not a national chain — we're local, licensed, and accountable.

Our Story

Bighorn Mountain Electric was founded in Gillette, Wyoming in 2019 by master electricians who spent their early career working the oil fields and industrial facilities of the Powder River Basin. They knew the region, knew the work, and knew that commercial and industrial clients in Northeast Wyoming deserved a contractor who showed up, did the job right, and stood behind it.

Since 2019, we've grown from a two-man operation into a full-service electrical contracting company with a team of licensed journeymen, master electricians, and project managers. We've worked on midstream, artificial lift systems, wellsite's, processing plants, disposal plants, manufacturing facilities, fabrication facilities, office buildings, county and city facilities, critical systems, and everything in between.

We're still based in Gillette. We still know every road in Campbell County. And we still believe that the best electrical work is done by people who take pride in what they build.

How We Work

Our Core Values

Safety First

No job is worth a lost-time incident. We follow OSHA standards, maintain a drug-free workplace, and stop work when conditions aren't safe.

Code Compliance

Every installation meets or exceeds NEC requirements. We don't cut corners — not on materials, not on methods, not on inspections.

Accountability

We answer our phones, show up when we say we will, and fix problems without excuses. That's how we've kept clients since we opened.
